Call for Election Observers: Lagos State LG Elections – July 12, 2025

The Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC) hereby invites applications from interested organizations and individuals to serve as International and Domestic Election Observer s for the forthcoming Local Government Elections scheduled to hold on Saturday, July 12, 2025 .

In line with LASIEC’s commitment to conducting free, fair, inclusive, and credible elections, we welcome expressions of interest from civil society organizations, non-governmental organizations, and other relevant stakeholders with demonstrated experience in democratic governance and election observation.

The application window will be open from Monday, June 2, 2025, to Monday, June 13, 2025.

Accredited observers will be granted access to observe the electoral process across the 20 Local Government Areas and 37 Local Council Development Areas of Lagos State.
